By downloading or using Mileage Log you agree to these terms and to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, which also applies to the app.

The app

Mileage Log helps you record trips and estimate mileage deductions or reimbursements. Distances measured with GPS can differ from your vehicle's odometer. Review your trips and correct them when needed; you are responsible for the accuracy of your logbook.

Estimates, not tax advice

Deduction amounts use public standard mileage rates (such as those published by the IRS, HMRC, CRA or ATO) or a rate you enter, and are estimates only. Official rates and rules change and depend on your situation. The app does not provide tax, legal or accounting advice and is not affiliated with any government agency.

Safe driving

Do not use the app while driving. Start and stop trips only when it is safe to do so and follow local laws.

Subscriptions and purchases

Some features require Mileage Log Pro, available as an auto-renewable subscription (monthly or yearly) or a one-time lifetime purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings. Free trials, if offered, convert to a paid subscription unless canceled before they end. Refunds are handled by Apple.

Your data

Your trips are stored only on your device. You are responsible for keeping backups (Pro users can export one from Settings). We cannot recover data lost when the app is deleted or the device is lost. See the Privacy Policy.

Warranty and liability

The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, tax assessments or lost data arising from the use of the app.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use the app means you accept the updated terms.
