The app
Tip Log helps you record shifts, hours, tips and wages, and estimate tax deductions related to tips and overtime. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for keeping the records your employer and tax authority require.
Estimates, not tax advice
Deduction and tax amounts are estimates based on public rules (such as the US deductions for qualified tips and qualified overtime for tax years 2025 through 2028) and on the information you enter. Rules change and depend on your situation; official amounts come from your employer's forms and your tax return. The app does not provide tax, legal, payroll or accounting advice and is not affiliated with the IRS, the Treasury or any government agency.
Subscriptions and purchases
Some features require Tip Log Pro, available as an auto-renewable subscription (monthly or yearly) or a one-time lifetime purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings. Free trials, if offered, convert to a paid subscription unless canceled before they end. Refunds are handled by Apple.
