Privacy Policy

The short version: we don't collect any of your data. Your shifts, tips and earnings stay on your device. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no tracking.

Information we collect

None. Tip Log does not collect, transmit or sell personal information. We have no servers and never receive your shifts, tips, wages or tax estimates.

Information stored on your device

Jobs, shifts, hours, tips, wages, sales, notes, the months you mark as reported and your settings (such as country, filing status, tax bracket and estimated income) are saved only in the app's storage on your device. The widgets and the Live Activity read a short summary (for example this week's earnings) from storage shared with the app on the same device. Deleting the app deletes this data.

Notifications and Siri

Reminders are scheduled locally on your device. When you use Siri or Shortcuts with Tip Log, your request is handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy; the app only receives the action, such as an amount of tips to log.

Sharing and backups

PDF tip records, tip statements, CSV files and backups are created only when you tap Share or Export. You decide where they go (for example Mail, Files or iCloud Drive). Those services are governed by their own privacy policies.

Purchases

Subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment details.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
