Privacy Policy
Focus Habits · Last updated October 14, 2026
Information we collect
None. Focus Habits does not collect, transmit or sell personal information. We have no servers and never receive your data.
Information stored on your device
Your habits, check-offs, streaks, rest days, history and settings are saved only in the app's storage on your device and protected by your iPhone's passcode and encryption. Deleting the app deletes this data.
Widgets, Siri and Live Activities
Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets read your habits through an App Group, a storage area shared by the app and its widgets on the same device. Checking off a habit from a widget, completing a habit with Siri or Shortcuts, and the focus timer Live Activity all run on your iPhone and never send your data to us. Siri requests are handled by Apple under its own privacy policy.
Notifications
Gentle reminders and the alert when a focus timer ends are scheduled locally on your device. They are not sent through any server. You can turn them off at any time in the iPhone Settings app → Focus Habits → Notifications.
Sharing and backups
Backup files are created only when you tap Export Backup (Pro). A backup is a JSON file with your habits and history, and you decide where it goes (for example Files or iCloud Drive). Those services are governed by their own privacy policies. Keep backups in a safe place.
Purchases
Focus Habits Pro subscriptions and the one-time lifetime purchase are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment details.
Children
Focus Habits does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
