Privacy Policy

Baby Log · Last updated October 14, 2026

The short version: we don't collect any data. Your baby's name, birthday and everything you log stay on your iPhone. There are no accounts, no servers, no analytics, no ads, no tracking and no third-party SDKs.

Information we collect

None. Baby Log does not collect, transmit or sell personal information. We have no servers and never receive your data or your baby's data.

Information stored on your device

Your baby's name and birthday and everything you log (breastfeeding, bottles, pumping, solids, sleep, diapers, growth measurements such as weight, length and head circumference, medicine, temperature and notes) are saved only in the app's storage on your device and protected by your iPhone's passcode and encryption. This data never leaves your iPhone unless you export it yourself. Deleting the app deletes this data.

Widgets, Siri and Live Activities

Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets read your data through an App Group, a storage area shared by the app and its widgets on the same device. Logging from the Quick Log widget, the breastfeeding and sleep timer Live Activities, and Siri requests all run on your iPhone and never send your data to us. Siri requests are handled by Apple under its own privacy policy.

Notifications

The optional feeding reminder, sent a set number of hours after the last feed, is scheduled locally on your device. It is not sent through any server. You can turn notifications off at any time in the iPhone Settings app → Baby Log → Notifications.

Exports and backups

Backup files and PDF reports are created only when you tap Export Backup or create a Pediatrician Report (Pro). A backup is a JSON file with your babies and entries; a report is a PDF summary of what you logged. You decide where they go (for example Files or iCloud Drive) and who receives them. Those services are governed by their own privacy policies. Keep backups and reports in a safe place, because they contain information about your baby.

Purchases

Baby Log Pro subscriptions and the one-time lifetime purchase are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment details.

Children

Baby Log is used by parents and other adults caring for a baby. The information you enter is about your baby, but it stays on your device and is never collected by us. We do not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
