The short version: we don't collect any of your data. Your fasts, check-ins, symptoms, cycle dates and weight stay on your iPhone. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no tracking.

Information we collect

None. Fasting 40+ does not collect, transmit or sell personal information. We have no servers and never receive your data.

Health information stored on your device

Fasting sessions, daily check-ins (energy, mood, sleep and symptoms such as hot flashes), your life stage, period dates, cycle length, weight, water intake and notes are sensitive. They are saved only in the app's storage on your device and protected by your iPhone's passcode and encryption. The app does not read from or write to Apple Health. Deleting the app deletes this data.

Notifications

Reminders (for example "goal reached" or a daily reminder to start fasting) are scheduled locally on your device. They are not sent through any server.

Sharing and backups

Backup files are created only when you tap Export Backup. You decide where they go (for example Files or iCloud Drive). Those services are governed by their own privacy policies. Keep backups in a safe place, because they contain your health notes.

Purchases

Subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment details.

Children

The app is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 18.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
